The Called to Care movement began in May 2022, when church and community leaders gathered at Grace Church International in North Houston for the first Called to Care Pastors & Leaders Luncheon. What started as a single meeting ignited a spark—a shared recognition that something new, fresh, and deeply needed had to rise within the Greater Houston community. From that moment, a movement was born.

Today, we continue answering God’s call with a clear purpose and united passion. Our vision is a unified Greater Houston where Christ’s love is demonstrated through empowered churches, businesses, organizations, and community partners—ensuring every child and family in crisis is surrounded with consistent support, restored hope, and pathways to lasting stability and flourishing.

Guided by God’s love, our mission is to equip and mobilize churches, businesses, and nonprofits to unite in Christ-centered action—bringing hope, healing, and tangible support that strengthens families and ensures every child experiences love and proper care.
