Build & Equip Your CarePortal Response Team in your Community

Responders are the hands and feet of Jesus—meeting practical needs, praying with families, and offering encouragement to those in crisis. They help stabilize families, build meaningful connections, and prevent unnecessary breakdown by showing up with compassion, dignity, and Christ-like love. Responders receive alerts for local needs through CarePortal, serve one or two families a month, participate in deliveries or Care Days, and communicate with their Team Leader to ensure families are well-supported.

Responders serve with excellence by maintaining confidentiality, following safety and trauma-informed guidelines, and representing their church with kindness. They invite others to join, share updates and testimonies, and stay engaged with their team. This role is ideal for followers of Jesus who are active in a local church, dependable, compassionate, and willing to help with practical tasks. Together, Responders help create More Than Enough—turning faith into action for children and families in our community.

There are Nearly 3,000 churches in Houston with individuals who stand ready to help, if only they knew what’s needed.
